At Pinnacle Charter School, we believe that parents and guardians play a large role in their student’s success. Please make sure you student’s academic advisor knows how to get ahold of you and the best time of day to reach you.

Ecap By Grade

What does ECAP look like for each grade at Pinnacle?

9th Grade

  • August: Review with instructor ECAP instructions and complete PLP packet
  • September-October: GPA review and Grad Plan preparation
  • November-December: Review Career Interest survey
  • January-February: Attend Career Day; look into Volunteer Programs for summer; prepare resume
  • March-April: GPA review and Grad Plan review; and PLP goal review
  • May: Prepare classes for new year; summer school options

 

10th and 11th Grades

  • August: Review with instructor ECAP instructions and complete/update PLP packet
  • September-October: GPA review and Grad Plan preparation or update; PSAT Orientation and prepare for PSAT test
  • November-December: Review of PSAT score and design a course of study for ACT/SAT
  • January-February: Attend Career Day; look in to volunteer programs for summer or job opportunities; update resume
  • March-April: GPA review and grad plan review; and PLP goal review
  • May: Prepare classes for new year; summer school options

 

12th Grade

  • August: Review with instructor ECAP and PLP packet; set goals for graduation
  • September-October: GPA review and Grad Plan preparation or update; begin College applications
  • November-December: Finalize College application and get Letters of Recommendation
  • January-February: Attend Career Day; Begin FAFSA for college of choice
  • March-April: GPA review and grad plan review; and PLP goal review; college review and FAFSA completion
  • May: Graduate!
